Ad Initio is a science fiction short film made in less than 48 hours as part of the 48 Hour Film Project competition in Lyon in 2015 with the Les Lunatik team.

The planet is at the end of its life and resources are exhausted. Humanity's only hope now is to escape. But when it's impossible to save everyone, it's vital to choose the right people...

This is a project by the Les Lunatik team, set up by Tronatic Studio, which was involved in writing the script, directing, editing and, of course, the special effects.

The 48 Hour Film Project

The 48 Hour Film Project (48HFP) est un concours international organisé dans 146 villes différentes sur toute la planète. Il consiste à réaliser un court-métrage en 48h à partir de consignes et d’un genre, personnage, objet et d’une ligne de dialogue imposés.

The Lunatik

The Lunatiks are a semi-professional team created by Tronatic Studio for its participation in the 48HFP competitions in France. It is made up of a production team of around twenty people who are responsible for acting, sound recording, make-up, stage management, music composition, directing, editing, drones, etc.
