Context: GameWard brings its mascot Gwardian to life
Created by enthusiasts, GameWard is a professional esports club and media brand. In full ascent, the club achieved since its beginnings a meteoric rise in France and Europe.
To assert its identity and anchor its values within its growing community, GameWard is developing its brand image with its mascot named "GWARDIAN" which proudly bears their signature: #FaceEvery. Wanting to be the bearer of the brand’s symbols and its values, the hero comes to life.
With this promotional video, GameWard wanted to highlight its GWARDIAN icon embodied by the voice of François-Eric GENDRON with a strong message.
Service: Redesign of the 3D model, realization of a 3D video
The goal of this video is to generate interest in its already existing community and strike hard to mark new minds still inconquisite.
In order to carry out the project and following a pre-established specifications, the studio was able to propose a tailor-made realization in terms of camera, environment design, general atmosphere…
We also addressed the following key points:
The creation of Gwardian
– Recovery and redesign of the 3D model of GWARDIAN with our creative touch and some anatomical modifications and more details.
– Optimize 3D model for animation and meet VFX standards.
– Creation of textures, respecting the emblematic colors of the brand. Addition of different materials to give more depth to the character and his story by details of damage, scratches, burns, reliefs, paintings…
The creation of the video
– Environment concept and global art direction.
- Story-board to validate the framing and duration of the plans.
- Environment design (modeling and textures).
– Set up and animation of 3D cameras
- 3D animation of the character and some elements of the environment.
– Lighting in line with the desired atmosphere and artistic direction.
- Composition, editing and subtitles.
Our team was able to take real pleasure in the implementation of this project which we were able to carry out in close collaboration with GameWard and our partner his Studio Sonire.
