Context: New web series for Golden Moustache

Golden Moustache is a French collective of video artists on YouTube, who mainly produce sketches and humorous short films. With 3.61 million subscribers and 900 million views of their videos, Golden Moustache is the biggest French YouTube collective alongside Studio Bagel.

Huis is an eight-part series co-written by :

– Nico­las Berno
– Lucien Maine
– Adrien Ménielle
– Akim Omiri
– Justine Le Pottier
– Valen­tin Vincent

The series is similar to a 2.0 huis clos with six protagonists including a voiceover. It was published weekly on Golden Moustache's YouTube channel during the summer of 2015. Stefan Carlod and Valentin Vincent directed this satirical window on society, and Akim Omiri, Nicolas Berno, Adrien Ménielle, Lucien Maine, Valentin Vincent and the only woman in the story, Aude Gogny-Goubert, all played their part.

L’in­trigue

The characters are locked in an empty room with no door... At least that's what it looks like until the end. You have to take the trouble to watch it all the way to the end to understand how the heroes are going to get out at the end of this story.

Services: production of special effects (VFX)

For these eight episodes, Tronatic Studio was responsible for producing the various VFX for Golden Moustache, essentially based on the principle of green screen (or keying). The studio was able to handle numerous door openings and closings, the integration of light backgrounds and set extensions. A total of 29 shots were manipulated in all the episodes.
