Context: Engineering Data, the industry of the future, presents L250 and Easy Lock Plus.

For nearly 30 years, Engineering Data has specialized in machining fixtures and assembly. With extensive experience and always on the lookout for new technologies, they eventually turned to the design and manufacturing of robots in-house, particularly the L250 and Easy Lock Plus robots.

Guided by innovation towards the industry of the future, Engineering Data strives to meet the needs of industrial companies with their innovative products, adhering to a spirit of productivity and flexibility.

Service: Creation of a full 3D technical video

Wishing to enhance their communication for an upcoming trade show and to present their new technology, we were in charge of two projects to create this situational video, including our CGI and DESIGN services. CGI et DESIGN.

For the first phase of this project, we organized a technical visit. The diverse skills of our team allowed us to quickly understand the functioning and use of each element to implement them correctly in the 3D environment.
We were thus able to start our work by processing each element separately:

Easy Lock Plus :
- Retrieval of the industrial model (CAD) and adaptation for CAD processing.
- Photorealistic textures of the elements.
- Animation of the elements and cutaway views revealing the technology used.

Machine L250 :
- Proposal of a scenario (framing, duration of shots, animation) according to the client's specifications.
- Reproduction of the factory hangar in 3D.
- Retrieval of the industrial model (CAD) of the robot and all components of the system and adaptation for CAD processing.
- Photorealistic textures of the elements.
- Preparation of the various mechanisms realistically for animation (robot, cables, CNC machine, etc.).
- 3D animation of the elements in a realistic situation.
- Composition and editing.

These two elements combined in a single video thus present new technologies at the forefront of a factory of the future.
