Context: production of an advertising spot for Le Rouge français

French organic and vegan cosmetics brand Le Rouge français wanted to highlight its iconic lipstick. Starring Amandine Albisson, one of the prima ballerinas at the Paris Opera, PMG Productions, in partnership with the Paris Opera, directed the advert. PMG Productions was keen to share the world and poetry of this advertising spot, and called on our VFX service.

Services: VFX supervision and production

For this project, we supervised the special effects during filming at the Paris Opera and the green screen shoot. The Paris Opera House was scanned in 3D during filming, so that we could better integrate it into the visual creation. During post-production, we created and brought to life the extraordinary forest in which the Paris Opéra and the prima ballerina were integrated, as well as the entire floral decor for the video. The lipstick, the central element of this production, was modelled in 3D and then integrated into the video. Particular attention was paid to the details of the lipstick bullet* so that it could be faithfully reproduced. 

*The term "lipstick bullet" comes from the visual resemblance between the shape of lipstick and that of a bullet.
