L’EMPRUNT

Context: "L'emprunt", video by Les Parasites.

The short film by Les Parasites depicts a scene in which two project owners are refused a bank loan for their eco-friendly concept car. The two friends are trying to obtain an advance of nearly €300,000 to launch production of their car.

Les Parasites is a fairly well-known online collective with a very good reputation in the short film world. Focusing on short video formats, it also produces web sketches, web series and music videos.

Featured on the "Les Parasites" YouTube channel, the video already has over 36 million views (25 September 2020).

Service: Custom-built concept car

For the short film "L'emprunt" for Les Parasites, the Tronatic Studio team was responsible for the car's complete design, 3D modelling and animation.

Named 'Bubble Car', the car was created to order. The only technical constraint for the studio was to adapt the interior and the outline of the windows to the model of an Opel Corsa, a car suggested by one of the team. We chose to work on the vehicle with a very rounded appearance to achieve the notion of 'bubbles' that the project was aiming for. The textures and colours were also designed with this in mind.

Arnaud Huck took the background photo, which the Tronatic Studio team used to integrate the car into a 2D video shot.
