Context: Promotional video for the Burger King franchise

Burger King restaurants in Tours are now offering table service. To promote this new service, the communications agency in charge of the project, Social Media Family, called on our VFX department to create the special effects for this video.

Based on an original idea from Social Media Family, we helped the communications agency produce this video. We took care of the filming and special effects.

This video, which depicts the life of a hamburger from the moment it is made to the moment it arrives on the table, required a special adaptation. The hamburger bun and toaster were scanned, then modelled and animated in 3D. We also designed and 3D printed, in-house, a GoPro camera support for the hamburger bun, enabling this video to be produced successfully.

The challenge of this project was the transition of the bread into the toaster. The shots of the bread entering and leaving the toaster were shot using a real hamburger bun. The bun in the toaster, on the other hand, is the 3D model we made. So we've taken particular care to ensure that this transition is seamless.
